Tour Tracker® Named Official Race Coverage Platform for USA Pro Cycling Challenge
BOULDER, CO July 22, 2012 Tour Tracker LLC, developer of The Tour Tracker®, announced today that it will be the official online, mobile and broadcast coverage platform for the upcoming USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Cycling fans everywhere are now ensured a front-row seat to the most exciting stage race to ever hit the high mountain slopes of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.
Tour Tracker® will provide start-to-finish coverage for each of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge’s seven days of racing action. From the race starting prologue in Colorado Springs, through the lung-searing high mountains and back to Denver a week later, Tour Tracker® will deliver live video coverage, real-time GPS location, speed, slope and elevation data, commentary and social media feeds. Tour Tracker can be found online or viewed on its custom developed USA Pro Cycling Challenge apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
Tour Tracker Live™ will give fans an additional window into the athleticism and suffering of racers as they climb to the highest elevations of the entire professional cycling race season. Racer heart rate values, speed, pedaling cadence and real-time power output information will be displayed in real time. Peak performance values will be reported by Tour Tracker Live™ throughout each stage and broadcast on Twitter (@TourTracker).
