The 2009 was the first time Italy’s grand tour, the Giro d’Italia, was featured by Tour Tracker. The event coverage, provided in partnership with Universal Sports, was extremely well received and the promoters were very impressed with Tour Trackers ability to operate with a very small footprint. The talented development team at Tour Tracker is especially skilled at adapting the platform to accommodate the unique needs and real-time data availability of a wide range of events.

Tour of California

From the earliest days, AEG’s Amgen Tour of California has been a showcase for the Tour Tracker. Working closely with the technical team at AEG has been a very education experience for the Tour Tracker team. In many ways, the race and Tour Tracker have grown up together. The friendships built and learning curves climbed have paved an exciting road for the founding members of the Tour of California and Tour Tracker.

USA Pro Cycling Challenge

2011 Marked the introduction of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge to the international racing calendar. Based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the event catapulted to the top of the domestic cycling scene. Every turn of the race, Tour Tracker was there to deliver start to finish coverage on-line and on a wide array of mobile devices. USAPCC will be back in 2012 and so will Tour Tracker!

Tour of Georgia

Cycling fans who tuned in to watch the Tour of Georgia thought the race up Brasstown Bald Mountain was the epicenter of the action. Wrong. The real action, throughout the entire tour, was on Tour Tracker. Every turn, through rural Georgia and all the way to Atlanta, was captured in up-to-the-second detail on Tour Tracker. We miss the Tour de Georgia and hope it returns one day soon…and when it does, Tour Tracker will be back with it to deliver the action as it happens.
